A+C DOWNTOWN CALGARY WEDDING

Remember this couple? They had a gorgeous engagement session in the dewy light that you can check out HERE. Well the day finally came for them to seal the deal in downtown Calgary and man I loved many aspects of this day. The lovely couple got ready in the beautiful International Hotel with a skyline view of downtown. The bedrooms were airy and the balcony brought in a nice breeze. Anne Louise was completely relaxed, letting everything fall into place and Curtis was full of excitement! I was fortunate to work with Strawberry Films throughout the day and we had so much fun!

The weather predicted rain, and although we dealt with some interesting weather on the day .. it created a great mix of images! So scroll on through and enjoy!!

I just loved the relaxing morning we had together, it allowed for everyone to munch, open gifts, and get dolled up with zero stress! AND now onto the beautiful ceremony located in Downtown Calgary, the Sacred Heart Church. The high ceilings, gorgeous stained glass, brick exterior.. *sigh* The church was beautiful decorated by Emily from Final Touches Events and she was simply fabulous!

When I stepped outside the church to prep for family photos, it began to pour which made my heart sink a little. THANKFULLY Alberta weather changes 360 degrees every two minutes, so we waited for 5 and bam, no rain just wind... But we can ALWAYS work with a little wind :)

And onto the FUNNNNN part.. Formal Photos!!! Worried about the rain and wind, we took our chances and heading to Reader Rock Garden any way. Thankfully I have the weather gods on nothing rained on my parade {no pun intended haha..ok, not funny.} The wind rolled around here and there but we sure made it work, Am I Right? Thank you to Orange Trunk Vintage Rentals for the awesome pink couch!

AND onto the reception that took place at the Glencoe Club in Calgary woo! They had a fabulous room that was decorated to the nines! Final Touches Events did exactly that.. put in the final touches to make the room come together! Cake by Beth Louise made the delicious wedding cake and cake pops.. nomnomnom! Thank you for making my mouth water :D

PS - The Oilers table was OBVIOUSLY the best table to sit at. Aside from all the hilarious burns Carlo stated, I would proudly sit there!

Thank you Anne Louise & Curtis for having such a beautiful wedding day that I could document for you :D I had so much fun photographing your love! xo
